A Civil Engineer is concerned with the planning, designing, construction, maintenance of structures and altering geography to suit man's need. some of the numerous sub-division are transportation, hydraulics, irrigation, water supply and sewage disposal structures of buildings, bridges and tunnels.

The college has provided a good grooming ground for Civil Engineering by making available ISO certified instruments in various well-equipped laboratories. The Institute has established an excellent facility for the hydraulics Lab to conduct the latest practical in the field of flow of fluids as well as various hydraulics machines. The consultancy cell undertakes construction material testing, soil testing and survey works in this region.

The college has taken a new initiative in creating a center for Water Conservation & renewable energy Managment
